Despite the threats of the hacker that defaced and deleted content on elfden normal service will be resumed. It may take a while to reset things up, but rest assured things will be up and running shortly.
I reckon that Stonehege was build by the contemporary equivalent of Microsoft, whereas Avebury was definitely an Apple circle.

Normal service isn’t quite resumed. For example, this post says it has two comments on it, but if I click on the link it doesn’t show me them, it instead invites me to ‘comment first’…
…that’s odd. It posted that one okay — but what happened to the two comments that used to exist (supposedly) prior to me posting that one?
restored from 2 backups which may have caused a problem – especially as I didn’t try and re-add the comments from the later copy.
