Sometimes I write code, sometimes I search for what is out there first, but I always heavily adapt them to meet my requirements.

Comments system itself was from an online source, and for the public facing side of things I didn't have to make many changes as it was fairly robust. But what it lacked was any way to manage the comments. So I wrote a set of scripts to set up some defaults, put in place spam filters and of course a way to delete or release comments etc. Trying to ensure that it can scale up when needed , but it will probably need to be revisited at some point. Though obviously I also had to add in security to then access the comment managements.

The spam filters I have used are likely to be troublesome to begin with, so if your comment is moderated please be patient as I will try and release it asap. To help with this I've added notifications to my local system to keep tabs on comments.
