Inaccessible sites

Posted Sep 25th, 2006 by Rich

Web accessibility is a growing field, the rest of the world just needs to catch up with the few that are dedicated to it. However there are various sites out there that laud and honour accessible sites. I think it is about time that one is started for inaccessible sites.

So if your site isn’t acessible, doesn’t validate or only works in Internet Explorer feel free to let me know! If there is enough response then I’ll create a website to list them all!

Please note sites will only be accepted if they are posted by their respective web maintainers. You also agree to allow us to use your site in any online, or offline, demonstration of inaccessible web design.

Don’t be shy - you know you want to!

I like the idea, but sounds like a dangerous one. I’ve been trying to think of ways to educate site owners about the inaccessibility of their sites, but the best I could come up with after various discussions was a kind of review site. Post a series of articles that takes a home page and accessify it.
